Our Story

Hi, I'm Eric.

Nathan "Borrego" Upton was my brother, my mentor, and my closest friend. This work is dedicated to him.

Losing him in 2015 pushed me to finally start the business he'd always believed I should build.

He was one of the most authentic people I've ever known. Not always easy, but always real. And because of that, you trusted him.

That's what I try to bring to every project.

We've worked with tech companies, healthcare organizations, and growing businesses across the country. One project defines what this work can be: a film we produced helped a med-tech startup raise $22M in Series A funding, which led to FDA approval, a $56M follow-on raise, and eventually — their product saving its first life.

Borrego Studios exists to honor him. Ten years in, that hasn't changed.
